A: There are no plans to stop the Vette production anytime soon. Its a great car and a reasonably affordable price.
The Viper is taking a year off and will be back after that. Its hard to say their long term plans as Chrysler has sort of been bounced around between owners a few times recently. I’d imagine it will stick around for the same reason as the Vette.

A: I’m gonna say that it’ll depend on demand for the vehicle. If people are still wanting to pay for them, then they will still be made more than likely. If there are still gonna be older vipers on a lot unsold, then not likely. It’ll all depend on the economy and how the next few years go for America.
Corvettes are much more popular for their better price and what you can do with them modification wise. As long as Chevy is in business, the Corvette will be made.

A: I think it physically will fit. The Viper’s long hood makes people think the engine is twice the size it really is. It’s pushed far back in reality. Here’s a pic to give you an idea of what I’m saying.

A: Viper has always been V10, Mustang has had inline 6, V8, V6 and inline 4 (turbo and non-turbo) in it’s lifetime.
