Q: can a 427 fit into a 67 ford mustang coupe?
I have a 1967 ford mustang coupe. its got a 302 engine in it right now but it has nooo power. I want to put a 427 windsor in it but dont know if it will fit.
A: A 427 Windsor is just a stroked 351, so it will fit right in. In 67 Ford widened the Mustang to accommodate the 390, which is much larger than the 351. You could even drop in a 427 or 428 FE motor if you want.
The link shows a 67 Mustang with a 351 Windsor in it. You have tons of space.
Q: How much would it cost to repaint a ‘67 Ford Mustang?
I mean re paint to, like take the old color off (its chipping anyway) and put a completely different color on it. Right now it is a dark huter green color and I want to paint it a lighter color purple. Does anyone know how much this would cost me? and if I wanted to do a little bit of detailed paint work how much would that be? Can any one help me out here???? I really need some help???
A: Depends on the quality of the work that the autobody guy does yes you can find it really cheaply but if it isn’t quality work you may end up not liking the work done later down the road so get a quality auto body person to do the work to begin with.

Q: ‘67 Ford Mustang model car wanted?
‘67 Mustang Model Car…?
I’m looking to get a model of a 1967 Ford Mustang in a dark green. I know it is specific and I have a picture of what I want. I just have no idea how I go about finding it, where to look, or even an idea of much it will cost. I looked on ebay and a google search or two and didnt find much, any ideas would be great! thanks so much.
A: Just be patient. I’d also like a 1954 or 55 Pennant blue ‘vette, don’t care about the engine type (155Hp blue flame6 or 190Hp V8). Yet, I do not have money , not to mention I’ll be about 40 when it might be possible for me to buy it. I’ve just entered college! Those ‘vettes are very rare to find!
Q: Is it possible to put a 351 big block in a 67 ford mustang & if so what is best transmission choice?
A: The only big block 351 was the 351M and you would have to be mad to even want one. They were roaches and are the butt of many a joke.
Q: Did the original 67 ford mustang shelby gt 500 have a stick shift or more of a slap stick?
post a picture of what it origanally looked like if possible thanks for the help : )
A: The 1967 Ford Mustand Shelby GT500 came with a true 4 speed manual transmission. A picture of the interior can be found here:

Q: Can anyone tell me the what is expected to pay for a ‘67 Ford Mustang?
No grille, needs very LITTLE body work
351 Cleveland Engine
MSD Ignition
Holley Carburator
T5 Transmission
Hurst Shifter
runs smooth
Nice interior
Black, Black interior
guages work
A: A pretty wide open question. I would make a guess at a value of about $3000 tops. This takes into consideration it may need work you have not discovered yet. The engine is not the original and there are areas on these cars that are prone to having rust problems. Be sure to check the floor pans, frame rails and quarter panels for rust or damage. I suggest having someone who is knowledgeable look it over for you.
Q: 67 ford mustang v6 or v8? 6 speed?
ok theryes a guy here claiming he has a v6 67 mustang thats a 6 speed, i find that hard to believe, did they come in 6 speed?
A: Most cars back then were either 3 speed autos or 4 speed manuals. “three on the tree” or “four on the floor” were common names for them.
He COULD have a new tranny on there, but most likely hes just full of crap.
Q: What is a fair price for a ‘67 Ford Mustang?
A: it matters what type of condition it is in, what has been added to it, and so on. Ask an old mustang dealer. The person saying 500 is crazy, those are worth thousands
Q: I was looking to buy a ‘66 or ‘67 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, and with out a big price tag.?
In other words i kinda want a real fixer-uper for like $5,000. or so, I want to get in to collecting and so does my husband this is the kind he wants, but the fixed ones price tag is crazy high. We want to do all the work our selves.
A: You may have better luck by lowering your standards a bit and building a “clone”. You chose a vary popular vehicle to restore, and as you know they command pretty good money in today’s market. A “clone” in this case would be a 66 or 67 mustang that started life as a regular old mustang, it is however upgraded with all of the Shelby equipment to make the car appear to be an original Shelby GT. Ultimately it will not have the value of an actual Shelby, but you can end up with a pretty nice car. Many professional custom car builders are going this route due to the demand of these cars. Another advantage of a clone is you can make personal changes to the car that will not effect the value. A good example of this would be the 67 Shelby from the most recent gone in 60 seconds. It was not a real Shelby, but it did sell for more than 100K
Q: When i say 67′ Ford Mustang Shelby Gt 500 you think?
The car is in black by the way. Need to know the ride makes you want to look at it twice.
A: elanore
Q: looking for a 1965-67 ford mustang for restoring?
A: check local want ads and ebay parts cars..
Q: 67′ Ford Mustang Fastback?
My question is can you get a 67′ Ford Mustang fastback with a V6 Engine? Because it will be my first car and I’m not legally allowed to drive a V8.
A: no sorry, but they come with inline sixes though.. trouble is, most fastbacks have had v8 transplants.. so it might be hard to find a original one with a six, but they are out there.. yoiu may have to settle for a notch back coupe with the six, lots of them out there..
